Trustaff hires healthcare professionals to work as civilians at military and VA hospitals nationwide and we are currently seeking qualified Child/Adolescent Psychologists for immediate full-time opportunities at Irwin Army Community Hospital, which is located at Fort Riley near Kansas State University in the greater Manhattan, KS area.
        Working as a part of the hospital’s Behavioral Health Team, you will have the rewarding opportunity to care for active duty military and their dependents.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Education: The psychologist shall hold a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology Doctor (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA approved psychology program (or a program acceptable to the Office of the Surgeon General, U.S. Army).
  • Residency: The psychologist shall have completed an APA approved internship/residency in clinical psychology (or an internship/residency acceptable to the Office of the Surgeon General, U.S. Army).
  • Licensure: The psychologist shall have and maintain a current license to practice psychology in any one of the 50 states, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • Fellowship: The psychologist shall have completed a post-doctoral fellowship in child psychology or have completed a minimum of one (1) year of supervised experience in child psychology.
  • Experience: The psychologist shall have a minimum of two (2) years post-doctoral experience within the past five (5) years in the independent practice of psychology in the area of child psychology, preferably in a Government setting such as a DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF.
  • Have (or be eligible and willing to apply for) diplomat status to American Board of Professional Psychology.
  • Certification: The psychologist shall have and maintain a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate.
