EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN FLORIDA

The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Miami is seeking to fill a tenure track faculty position in Neuroscience, starting in August, 2011.  It is anticipated that this position will be filled at the Assistant or beginning Associate Professor level. This search is emphasizing research interests in human cognitive neuroscience (e.g., using functional MRI). Individuals with clinical or nonclinical interests in neuroscience (cognitive or behavioral) are encouraged to apply.  For clinical appointment, a Ph.D. in Psychology from an APA accredited program or equivalent is required. For non-clinical appointment, a Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience or related area is required. Faculty members in the Department of Psychology are expected to develop their own independent areas of research, teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate level and supervise doctoral students.  For more information about the Department go to www.psy.miami.edu.
